Academics-Career

about me

In my first year of college, hope and excitement filled my heart as I aimed for greatness. But being dark-skinned from a middle-class family, I became an easy target for bullies. They mocked my complexion, belittled my humble lunch and mocked my mode of transportation. Then, the pandemic hit, and I faced isolation, rejection from friends, family dissatisfaction, and disapproval from my partner. Determined, I worked in a call center, overcoming countless breakdowns. Slowly, the tides turned, and I achieved success. I earned well, pursued my passions in writing, dancing, and badminton. My journey taught me resilience, carrying scars as a testament to my strength. Today, I stand tall, cherishing every moment, driven by the desire to fulfill my mother's dreams.
